Lloyd Watson Consulting has vast experience of media training, gathered over 25 years of teaching journalists.

Director Lloyd Watson helped design the highly successful and popular five-day video training course offered by the Thomson Reuters Foundation – Making Video News.

Media courses deal with the full range of production skills from research, story selection, through video news gathering, scripting and editing to presentation, on-air skills and pieces to camera.

Ethics, legal considerations, rights and restrictions are also a speciality.

Training can be offered as a one-week course covering all aspects of video news production, or it can be tailored to suit the needs of an individual client.

Media training is equally applicable to inexperienced journalists in a new start-up as it is to more seasoned professionals working for established broadcasters, online publishers or news providers.

Lloyd is also qualified to teach English as a foreign language and to prepare students for their International English Language Teaching System (IELTS) exams.
